Synchronizing Business Central and Dataverse.

Introduction

Microsoft Power Automate is a tool used for creating automated workflows between desired applications to synchronize files, get notifications, and collect data. It is a cloud-based solution that triggers chain reactions within a workflow to finish manual, repetitive, and time-consuming tasks without human intervention.

Microsoft Power Automate with Dynamics 365 Business Central boosts productivity, allowing quick and secure automated tasks by using intelligent workflows to use with the least effort.

Using pre-built connectors, users create time-saving workflows that perform individual tasks on large-scale systems with flawless integrations.

How do Power Automate Flows work?

Power Automate helps create automated workflows between apps and services, such as Business Central. Power Automate flows do not require high coding knowledge.

They can be associated with a wide range of events and responses, such as:

  • Record changes
  • External files updates
  • Posted documents
  • Various Microsoft and third-party services, such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Dataverse, Teams, SharePoint, Power Apps, and more.

Power Automate features in Business Central

By logging into Power Automate and choosing “My flows” from the navigation bar on the left, you can view all the Power Automate flows that are currently accessible to you. Any flows that you have already generated on your own or that are shared with you by an administrator or colleague can be found here.

Additionally, Business Central offers these flows on several pages. There is nothing to do with automated flows in Business Central unless you wish to modify or disable them. They operate as and when triggered. Most of the list, card, and document pages allow you to conduct immediate flows on Business Central data by picking them from the Automate item in action.

This means taking care of what matters the most. Automate the rest.

Streamline repetitive tasks and business processes by amplifying efficiency and decreasing costs with Microsoft Power Automate.
